Section 183 : Over speeding

In the Motor Vehicles Act, section 183 which was first implemented in 1988 is listed as over speeding and driving over the speed limit. The brief information about this section is that anyone found over-speeding or going over the speed limits stated in section 112 of Motor Vehicles Act, should be punished with a fine amount of four hundred rupees which may increase to one thousand rupees.
Anyone who is driving a motor vehicle while defying the laws of speed limit defined under section 112 shall be punished by giving a fine amount of four hundred rupees if anyone having been previously declared guilty under this section once more, they should pay a fine amount which may extend to one thousand rupees as per how big the offend is.
Also, this will apply to anyone who forces the driver of the motor vehicle which may be an employee of them or be controlling the driving of the driver of the motor vehicle to exceed over the speed limits mentioned in section 112, should be punished with a fine of three hundred rupees, or fine can exceed up to five hundred rupees if the same person has been proved guilty previously under this same section of MVA.
